"Dear parent/guardian,

We have come to the end of the first week of Semester two.  As mentioned earlier we are beginning our planning for the next school year.  On Wed February 15 we will have a Parent Information Night.   More details will come out later and the presentations will be posted on our website.  There will be two presentations: 6:15 - 6:45 for parents of students going into Gr. 10 - 12 and at 7:15 for parents of students going into Gr. 9 and newcomers to our school.  You can also check out the school board website for detailed information about program pathways and course selection.

Semester one final report cards will be distributed on Thurs Feb 9 and send home with your son or daughter.  Please ensure you ask them to see it!

On Friday Feb 10 our peer helpers and leadership students will run our second Welcome Wagon, the Winter Edition, for our Grade 9 students.  Please remind your Gr. 9 son or daughter to come dressed to play in the snow!

We are pleased to welcome the St. Rita community to our school next Friday evening for their annual community dance.  Should be a fun time!

A reminder that if you received an Immunization notice from Ottawa Public Health you are encouraged to follow up on it and get your son or daughter's immunizations or their paperwork up-to-date.  Please contact them at 613-5580-6744 or immunization@ottawa.ca if you have any questions.  Potential suspension notices have been sent out by Ottawa Public Health.  These would take effect on Feb 8 if immunization paperwork is not complete.  You are encouraged to get this taken care of.  We want to keep the kids in school!

A reminder to parents of grads that information is available about government assistance to support post-secondary education, this is known as OSAP (Ontario Student Assistance Program).  Check out their website for information.

Your yearbook team reminds you that we have only a limited number of books left to sell.  Don't miss out.  You can order online via the school website
