The St. Pius X High School community acknowledges that our school is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Algonquin peoples. We are honoured and thankful to learn, pray, celebrate and grow as humble guests on this land.
With Gratitude
We are extremely grateful to the Ottawa Irish Rugby Alumni, the St. Francis Xavier University Women’s Rugby program and many members of our St. Pius X Alumni for generously donating new rugby jerseys to our girls’ rugby team. We are excited to start the spring season with new gear!
We are also very grateful to our school board’s Student Success department, and many community partners, including industry experts, Shoppers Drug Mart, Algonquin College and Spotify (and more) for their wholehearted support of our new Pius On Point Hairstyling and Esthetics course. Check out the new Pius on Point website created as the students also learn about the entrepreneurial aspect of this trade.
Semester 2 Progress Letters and Parent-teacher interviews
Semester 2 Progress Letters were sent home on Thursday March 23. Please note that not all students will receive Progress Letters (they are mainly to alert parents early in the semester about areas of concern in classes). You may want to double-check your SPAM folder in case emails ended up there.
Parent-teacher interviews will be held on Thursday March 30. There are options for both in-person and virtual/phone. Please click HERE for the instructions to sign up. This information was also emailed to parents/guardians on Friday March 24. Please take note about the early dismissal on March 30.
We look forward to meeting you on March 30!
